Pull down faucet leaking under sink.
Continuous leak when faucet is off.
Pull out the faucet spray wand from the spout and unscrew it from the chrome pullout hose.
Place new seat over new spring delta genuine part rp4993 two sets per package and insert into socket in body using a pencil or an allen wrench.
The spacer check valve assembly is located under the valve in the faucet body.
The issue will be resolved by replacing the sprayhead hose.
Wipe inside of body including where seat and spring sit with a soft cloth.
Identify your faucet model number.
Replace the seals o rings to return the faucet to water tight operation.
Many times this leak is coming from the spray wand and hose connection.
Next pull the hose out through the faucet spout above and then feed the new hose back down the faucet spout in the same way.
Continuous leak while faucet is on.
The part number for the replacement seals will vary depending on the faucet model number.
Turn on the faucet and allow any residual water in the pipes to drain into the sink.
Screw this portion of the faucet off and take a look on the inside.
If you suspect a spout leak you can use a paper towel or small container to test it out.
If there is a lot of water deposits you can clean this by setting the faucet head in some vinegar for about 30 minutes.
A cup or bowl properly positioned under the faucet spout can also work.
Go back under the sink and slide the plastic weight back onto the hose if necessary.
If tightening the connection did not stop the leaking the faucet will need to be identified for the correct part numbers.
Solution for the leak.
Once you have disconnected the hose if you have a plastic weight on your hose you can now slide it off.
Dry the sink up after using the faucet then place a dry paper towel under the spout over the drain opening and check back later to see if it is wet.
Confirm that the spray wand and pullout hose connection is tight.
Water will leak at the sprayhead and hose connection or may run down the pull out hose and leak under the sink.
Remove aerator if the pull out kitchen faucet is leaking at the spout the problem is generally the aerator head.
The part number of the sprayhead hose will vary depending on the faucet model number.
In some faucets a symptom of a worn out spacer check valve is water leaking from the weep hole a small hole located in the back of the faucet body.
